I believe a lot of people set goals but never achieve them. I almost did exactly this with my goal of writing an e-book which I started mid way through 2015 and after a good focussed start, put it down and almost forgot about it, up until a few weeks ago when I picked it back up again and completed it.
My mistake was that I did not commit to completing this project. Setting a goal is never enough, that's why so many new year resolutions are not followed through.
Sometimes we need to take time out to reflect on what is important in our lives. An exercise I have found to be very effective in achieving this is to complete a list of 100 goals. I first heard of this through Keith Abraham of Passionate People.
Do you struggle with perfectionism? If you do there's a good chance that it's blocking you from success.
This past week I have been working on an e-book which I first started about six to eight months ago. I got it almost finished but then got distracted by other projects so put it aside. I have once again revisited it and plan on finishing it within a fortnight.
